We play throughout the warmer months, typically from October through to April.
The Outdoor Bowls Adjunct runs a full programme of club days, championship events, and interclub competitions. We field teams in the local Bowls Tauranga pennant league and participate in regional tournaments across the Bay of Plenty. Our regular club days are a great way to meet fellow bowlers and enjoy some friendly competition followed by refreshments at the bar.
Never played before? No problem. We welcome new players and can provide coaching and equipment to help you get started. Lawn bowls is a sport that anyone can pick up quickly, and our experienced members are always happy to show newcomers the basics. It is a fantastic way to stay active, socialise, and enjoy the outdoors in Mount Maunganui.
To get involved, simply become a member of Club Mount Maunganui and register with the Outdoor Bowls coordinator. Annual adjunct fees cover green fees, equipment use, and entry into club competitions.
